Yes. We accept new students at any time of year, whether you are a beginner or have had prior martial arts training.
Yes, There are no enrollment or start-up fees at our studio. To help you learn more about us, we offer two free introductory lessons, with no obligation.
Yes. You will never be asked to sign a financial contract at our studio – most schools require contracts, which obligate students to pay even if they stop taking classes. We don’t hold our students with contracts – instead value the student-instructor relationship and the bond that grows from training together.
No. We encourage students to wait until they have taken at least 10 classes before buying a uniform – we want you to be committed to continuing your training first. When you are ready, WTSDA approved uniforms with the AMWMA stencil are available at the studio.
Children start as young as age 5 or 6. And, there is no upper age limit – it’s never too late to start training. At AMWMA, our students range in age from 5 to 80 years old.
All you need to start training is a desire to learn and a willingness to give your best effort. Each of us is different, with different physical abilities, body types, challenges and backgrounds. Whether you are a beginner, have trained in another sport, or have a background in another style of martial art, we welcome you to our studio.
